[The third] test flight was conducted!

The Drone Research Circle held its memorable first test flight! This is the first activity after the establishment of the circle! The test location was the bank of the Tama River in the early morning. There was a bridge nearby where a train was passing by, so the camera tended to focus on the train as well. (When I checked later, I found that the number of drones and trains were about 50-50. ......)

The aircraft used for the test flight is a drone called HS700. This is also the first piece of equipment we purchased in the circle. The feeling that we are just getting started is amazing.

This HS700 drone is a model that can shoot video with a drone despite its relatively light weight. During this test flight, we confirmed the operation method and operation of the aircraft, and took test videos.

Although most of the operations were conducted at low altitude, we were able to confirm basic functions such as stable operability, speed exceeding expectations (thanks to which we struggled a lot with shooting the drone itself), and stability with little blurring in the video.

The drone is equipped with a function that allows the camera to be operated independently from the movement of the aircraft. We were concerned that it would be difficult to make fine adjustments when shooting with a drone due to wind and other environmental factors, but we expect that being able to move the camera and make fine angle adjustments in the air will greatly expand the range of shooting.

Today was the first flight after the installation of the equipment, so we did not take any real pictures, but we plan to do so at a later date and publish them as a video. We hope to capture images unique to drones, so please stay tuned!
